Opposition parliamentarian, Niko Nawaikula did not attend parliament yesterday after saying that a coup can be a way to change things.
Nawaikula also said that the constitution needs to be reviewed and changed.
He also said in parliament that he does not accept the constitution.
Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama has raised concern about Nawaikula’s comments.
However he has assured the people of the country that the government is looking after the safety and security of everyone.
Bainimarama said this assurance has also been given by the Defence Minister, Timoci Natuva.
Fijivillage is trying to get comments from Nawaikula.
However the Opposition office said that they had no idea on why he was not in parliament yesterday.
