A root crop processing factory was destroyed in a fire early this morning.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the incident occurred at River Road, Vunimono at about 1.30am.
Naisoro said the factory owned by a 49-year-old businessman of Vuci Road, Nausori had not been in operation for the last four months.
The estimated cost of damage is $200,000.
Meanwhile, a 3-bedroom house was destroyed in a fire in Namara Tiri, Labasa yesterday.
Naisoro said 48-year-old victim was sleeping in her room when the incident occurred.
Investigations continue.
