Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team Captain Kalione Nasoko has apologised for drinking and driving acknowledging the disappointment he has caused to the Fijian fans he proudly represents.
Nasoko has admitted he made a mistake assuming that he was fully recovered when he decided to drive his vehicle acknowledging the error of judgement.
Nasoko has pleaded guilty to a charge of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol in the Nadi Magistrates Court.
Coach Gareth Baber and FRU CEO John O'Connor say they value that Nasoko was up-front in admitting his mistake and having the courage to face the consequence and more importantly in his desire to publicly apologise to his supporters before they departed for the Las Vegas 7s
O’Connor is positive that Alasio Naduva who had some issues with his visa will be cleared to board the plane on Monday.
Meanwhile, Asaeli Tuivoka is not traveling with the team to Las Vegas.

Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am next Saturday, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day.
They will then face Australia at 7.52am next Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.46pm next Sunday, semifinals will start at 9.12am and the Cup final will kick off at 12.30pm Monday the 4th of next month.
