Narai and Gau women groups receive sewing machines

It was all smiles for the women in Nairai and Gau in Lomaiviti as they received 10 new sewing machines from the Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Dr Josefa Koroivueta.

The assistance by the Ministry will enable the women from the two Islands to sew and sell new shirts and dresses for their fellow villagers.

The event also marked government visitation to the districts where basic services including voter registration as well as services from the Ministry for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, Ministry of Education and Health were provided.
