Mukesh Naidu who is charged with three counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception has been further remanded in custody by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
Naidu appeared before Nasinu Magistrate Charles Ratakele.
He is also charged with one count of disobedience of lawful order.
Naidu who has been wanted by Police since August last year was arrested by a team of officers in Nadi on the 16th of this month.
He is alleged to have obtained more than $28,000 from three different people for land lots sold illegally.
A bench warrant was issued for Naidu for a pending court case and he was also wanted for questioning in relation to his alleged involvement in the illegal sale of land lots in Tacirua.
