Nadi Chamber of Commerce cancels plans to celebrate Holi

The Nadi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has cancelled plans to celebrate Holi.

President, Dr Ram Raju says this is due to the Christchurch Mosque shooting that has claimed 50 lives including three Fijians and many more are admitted in hospital.

He says they all join hands in praying for the injured that are in hospital and those families who have lost their loved ones.

Raju says instead of celebrating the Hindu Festival of Holi, they will pray for the speedy recovery of shattered lives and shattered families who must be finding extreme difficulties to bear and cope.
