The New Zealand High Commission has provided a grant of $15,000 to continue its ongoing support to the Leadership Fiji Programme.
While presenting the cheque to Leadership Fiji, the New Zealand High Commissioner Mark Ramsden acknowledged the significance of the programme for Fiji’s young leaders over the years.
Leadership Fiji Board Chairman William Parkinson has deeply appreciated the foundation support of the High Commission’s funding in running the course.
This year the programme will facilitate 30 emerging leaders to develop their leadership competencies, build relations, explore their own values and learn to cope with the demands of the changing world.
Since its inception, 299 leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds and careers have graduated from the programme.
Leadership Fiji has also been heavily involved in the development of regional leadership programmes in Papua New Guinea, Samoa and Solomon Islands.
