New York based filmmaker Diana Diroy is in the country for two weeks to take people’s views on how they are affected by climate change and make a documentary out of it.
Diroy will work with the film artists at the University of the South Pacific’s Oceania Centre for Arts, Culture and Pacific Studies.
She said that her passion is to learn and research more on climate change from people who are actually experiencing the effects.
Diroy believes that not enough is being done to inform others about how climate change is affecting people, especially in the Pacific Island countries.
