The leader of the National Federation Party Professor Biman Prasad says his party is receiving so much attention because they are making a difference.
Prasad’s comments comes after Local Government and Infrastructure Minister Parveen Bala said earlier today that NFP has made a joke of itself and of its continued boycott of parliament.
Prasad says people are beginning to realize the real issues in the country and the flaws in the constitution.
He says people have the right to hear alternative views and NFP being an opposition party will continue to do it.
The NFP leader has also stated that they will not be intimidated by such statements.
While responding to the President’s speech today, Parveen Bala reminded the NFP parliamentarians that action takes place in Parliament and not in pocket meetings.
He went on to say that it is unfortunate that the actions of the NFP and its leadership shows only demise from its once great leadership and membership.
He also made comments regarding SODELPA parliamentarians who he claims were not sure whether to boycott the President’s speech in parliament.
