The National Federation Party has called on the FijiFirst government to consider a government of national unity to solve a number of issues which is still dividing the country.
Speaking at the Party’s Annual Convention at Tamavua Primary School, NFP Leader, Biman Prasad says the Prime Minister had said that before parliament started he wanted to work together and wanted to run an inclusive government and country.
Prasad adds the NFP had called on the Prime Minister in parliament to consider this issue and believes this is the only way to solve issues.
Government Whip, Semi Koroilavesau believes the NFP can officially discuss the matter with the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, the National Federation Party says they will continue to push for the review of the 2013 Constitution and repeal the Decrees which were put in place from 5th December 2006 until the start of parliament last year.
