National Fire Authority investigations are now underway to determine the cause of two house fires yesterday.
A three-bedroom house in Navua was destroyed in a fire in Navua leaving a family of nine homeless.
The National Fire Authority has confirmed that at 1:11am yesterday the Navua Fire Station received a call and upon arrival the house was fully engulfed in flames.
The family was at home when the fire occurred and they managed to get out of the house safely.
Meanwhile, a three bedroom corrugated iron and timber house was also destroyed at Thomson Road in Navua yesterday.
