After a month of fasting, thousands of Muslims all over Fiji are celebrating Eid today after the sighting of the new moon last night.
President of the Fiji Muslim League Hafiz Khan says any good deed a person does during Roza or fasting should be continued all his life and not just be restricted to fasting.
Khan says it is easy after a strict and rigorous 30 days of fasting to follow the same routine later as an example on how to live.
He says the day of Eid is very inclusive which begins with morning prayers.
Khan says this is the month where Muslims concentrate on giving to the needy and less fortunate.
He says the message of togetherness is something Muslims in Fiji want to share with everyone.
