Mukesh Naidu who is charged with three counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception and one count of disobedience of lawful order has been further remanded in custody.
The Fiji Commerce Commission lawyers did not appear at the Suva Magistrates Court and Magistrate Makereta Mua adjourned the case to be called again on the 28th of this month.
It is alleged that Mukesh Naidu obtained more than $28,000 from three different people for land lots sold illegally.
Police were looking for Naidu since August last year and he was arrested by a team of officers in Nadi on the 16th of last month.
A bench warrant was issued for Naidu for a pending court case and he was also wanted for questioning in relation to his alleged involvement in the illegal sale of land lots in Tacirua.
