A mother of two of Waituri in Nausori has called on the Government to look at bringing back the external examinations that have been abolished.
Saras Devi was at the FijiFirst political campaign meeting attended by more than 200 people.
Responding to the question, one of the candidates Mohammed Dean a school teacher said the students skills will not be identified through examinations alone.
Meanwhile the Fiji Intermediate Examination was abolished in 2010 and Fiji Eighth Year and Fiji Junior Certificate Exam was abolished in 2011.
The Ministry of Education earlier stated that the exams would be replaced with school-based and continuous external assessment.
