Mosese Koroi who allegedly murdered his pregnant partner remanded in custody

Mosese Koroi who is charged with the murder of his pregnant partner has been remanded in custody by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Police say the 23 year old woman passed away last Friday after being allegedly assaulted by her partner at a house in Nasese.

She was rushed to the CWM Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Koroi who is a farmer from Kadavu was drunk at the time of the alleged incident.   

The case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be called on the 26th of this month.
