There are more than 1,100 people currently in the seasonal worker ready pool who will be deployed to Australia and New Zealand this year.
The Ministry of Employment says they expect to deploy about 150 Fijians to New Zealand and 23 people to Australia by April this year.
They say these people have been identified already and are going through the Visa preparation process, Life Skills Training and Pre-Departure Orientation.
Last year 351 people were given a chance to work under the programme where 256 individuals were sent to New Zealand for Seasonal Work at their local farms and to help rebuild Christchurch.
Meanwhile 95 Fijians were sent to Australia for seasonal work and to work in the Hospitality and Accommodation sector last year.
