Over 1000 Fijian soldiers are currently on overseas peacekeeping missions.
Land Force Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Colonel Sitiveni Qiliho says the RFMF has continued with its commitment to the various peacekeeping missions around the world.
Colonel Qiliho says they have been able to rotate our troops to the Golan Heights, Sinai, Lebanon and South Sudan.
He says they are in the process of rotating our troops to Iraq and that is expected to be completed in the next two weeks.
He also highlighted that the RFMF Engineers will continue to carry out their work on some of the government projects next year.
The RFMF was allocated a budget of $103.3 million this year.
Finance Minister Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will deliver the 2016 National Budget address this Friday.
