The Minister for Housing Parveen Bala says 91 acres of land has been developed in Waqadra, Nadi at an estimated cost of $26 million which will have 247 residential lots for Housing Authority customers.
Bala says it will also include a stadium with two playgrounds.
He says 130 acres of land has been developed in Davuilevu which will have 754 residential lots and in Covata, Labasa 109 residential lots will be available for the Housing Authority customers in coming days.
The Minister says 33 acres of land has been developed in Tavua with an estimated cost of $4.8 million which will now provide 119 residential lots.
Bala says the development of 45 acres of land in Nepani, Nasinu will have 172 residential lots adding that this excludes 560‑Strata Units.
The government has spent close to $8.8 million for the Nepani project.
He adds 550 residential lots will soon be available for customers in Tavakubu, Lautoka with an estimated cost of $20 million.
