608 individuals from the larger islands of Fiji are currently benefitting from the 10 bore holes that was completed by the government last year.
This was revealed by the Minister for Industry Trade and Tourism Faiyaz Koya in the Parliament.
Koya says the main focus for the Ministry was to see that communities have access to clean drinking water.
He says these communities include, Northern Division, Kiobo, Raviravi, Namalata, Kubulau District School and a school in Ra.
Koya says these bore holes offer families cleaner water to meet their daily basic needs.
