Police Commissioner Ben Groenewald said more cases of vandalism of political posters and banners have been reported where unknown people have allegedly damaged the election material of parties.
Groenewald said a banner was allegedly removed from the compound of a 60-year-old in Makoi.
Groenewald said this has been going on for more than two weeks as several posters that were put up on the complainants fence were either removed or destroyed.
In another incident, an unknown person allegedly removed a political party banner which was tied up along Vitogo Parade.
He said a 45-year-old bus proprietor had his personal vehicle vandalized in the Western Division.
He said the complainant woke up on Wednesday and discovered that someone had spray painted his car with words of support for a political party.
The Commissioner of Police said that all initial investigations have been conducted by Police and the reports have been referred to FICAC.
