More $100 fake notes in circulation

Police have now established that there are more $100 fake notes in circulation in the country.

Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Luke Navela said the fake notes have been used in other outlets in the western division.

ACP Navela said this was revealed by one of the suspects.

Police are still questioning a businessman and a woman in Nadi.

Members of the public who have any information are requested to call Crime Stoppers on 919 or their nearest police station.

A cashier discovered the 17 $100 fake notes at a nightclub in Nadi last Saturday.

Another fake $100 note was discovered by a businesswoman of Namosau, Ba on Sunday.
