Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy has reiterated that money provided by government to the schools is for the students and teachers.
While speaking at the prize giving ceremony in Batinikama Secondary School, Dr Reddy said money given to schools must be utilized for the benefits of students to enhance the teaching tools of the teacher so that they can deliver better teaching materials.
The Education Minister also said they will remove all the administration duties form the teachers so that they can spend more time in teaching preparation and creating the entire learning environment.
Dr Reddy also said head teachers and principals will not be engaged in teaching from next year as they will now be monitoring the teachers so that they can ensure that teachers are doing their job.
