Bakaniceva says it is important to find ways in which we can mitigate the effects of climate change.
She wants to advocate on the importance of food security as agriculture is the main source of income for many families.
Meanwhile, Bakaniceva won Miss Internet last night.
Miss Carpenters, Marie Fall was awarded Miss Photogenic and Miss National Tourism.
Miss Suva City Council, Sarah Vamarasi was awarded the best dressed contestant.
The Miss Personality award went to Miss Fulton Hogan Hiways, Arishma Prasad and Miss People's Choice was won by Nelisha Umarao.
The Miss Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus 2015 will be crowned tonight.
