Miss Sinopec sponsored by Autocare Nihkat Khan has scooped three special awards last night at the Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus Festival.

Khan was awarded Miss Internet, Miss Best Dressed and Miss People’s Choice.

Other special awards that were given out last night include, Miss National Tourism that was awarded to Miss Soko’s Beauty and Net Cafe, Sainiana Sova, Miss Personality was awarded to Miss Foneology, Lavenia Vunidreketi and Miss Photogenic was won by Miss Apco, Nayome Paurasi.

Miss Hibiscus 2018 will be crowned at 7 tonight at the Valelevu grounds in Nasinu.

In the Kings Category, Mr Apco, Divesh Chandra won three special awards that include, Mr Internet and Mr Best Dressed and Mr People’s Choice.

Mr Personality was awarded to Mr Eat Out, Anthony Naicker.

Miss Charity will be crowned at around 3:30pm this afternoon while the 2018 Miss Hibiscus will be crowned at around 8:30pm tonight at the Valelevu grounds in Nasinu. 

Meanwhile, the Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that a single lane on Kings Road from Kinoya Road junction to the Valelevu grounds will be temporarily closed for the Vodafone Hibiscus Float procession 12pm- 2pm today.

FRA has also confirmed that other roads that will also be closed during this time include, Velau drive towards the junction of the Kinoya lights opposite the World Harvest Centre and the Valelevu Roundabout towards Daniva Road

Police have also confirmed that traffic officers will be redirecting traffic before the closure times and members of the public are requested to take alternative routes during these times.
