Miss Nausori Town Council, Natasha Lal will be advocating on gender equality in the Miss Fiji Pageant after she was crowned the 2018 Miss Tebara at the Vodafone Tebara Festival.
Lal says that the challenges she faced during the preparation of the Tebara Festival paid off the moment she was crowned the Queen.
The former Lelean Memorial School student acknowledged her school, her friends and her family for supporting her throughout the festival.
The 19-year-old is currently pursing a double major in Sociology and Law as a first year USP student.
Meanwhile, Minister for Local Government, Parveen Bala congratulated the Nausori Town on its 87th year as a town and stated that the government is fully committed in the development of the Nausori Town.
He highlighted that the Ministry has proposed the re-development of the Syria Park and the new multi purpose sports facilities will provide the best amenities for the people of Nausori.
