Miss Vodafone Friendly North and Miss Charity will be crowned at 7pm tonight at Subrail Park in Labasa in accordance to the weeklong festival.

Festival’s Media Officer Vincent Sahayam says there are 8 queen contestants vying for the crown and they all know that it can be any one of them.

Sahayam says there were 9 contestants and Miss Labasa Town Council pulled out on the third day because she was feeling sick.

He says her sponsors understood why she could not continue and they did not want to pressure her.

Meawhile sahayam says there will be also free bus services from Tabia, Naleba, Batinikama and Korotari from 6.30pm tonight and will leave at 11pm after the festival.

Sahayam says funds collected during the festival will go towards their project of building a multi‑purpose hall in Labasa which is expected to cost $1 million.
