The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport is working to roll out more than 3,000 solar home panel systems in the areas which still do not have power supply after the Tropical Cyclone Winston.
Permanent Secretary Paul Bayly says they have been working constantly to roll out a large number of solar panel systems, especially in remote and maritime islands.
He says they are focusing on large areas, therefore, it will take some time to reach to those who are in need of this assistance.
He also stresses that the Ministry is also putting up an Ecological Purification System to provide safe water to villages.
