The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations has received 413 death and injuries reported cases at the workplace over the past four years.
This was highlighted by the Deputy Secretary Isimeli Tuivaga during the World Occupational Health and Safety Day Workshop on Building a Culture of Prevention on OHS this morning.
Tuivaga said other OHS related issues are also on the rise, therefore this workshop is expected to train OHS officers from various entities and organisations in coming up with strategies that can help reduce the number of accidents in workplaces.
