The Ministry of Public Enterprises expects to receive more than $30 million in investment returns this year.
This was revealed by the Ministry's Permanent Secretary, David Kolitagane at the Public Accounts Committee Meeting.
Kolitagane said that they have substantially improved in profitability compared to previous years.
He said they are looking at the dividends at the consolidated level and they have received $3 million in 2006 and 2007.
Chairman, Ashneel Sudhakar then asked him if this $30 million will be from all the 27 entities which the Ministry is currently monitoring.
Kolitagane said it is from all the 27 entities.
