Employment Ministry is satisfied with the budget - Usamate

Minister for Employment Jone Usamate says the ministry is satisfied with the budget in terms of what it had set out to do.

The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations received $16.7M, an increase of $200,000.

Usamate says there is good news for employers who would like to train their staff.

Usamate says they have had a lot of discussions with the Ministry of Economy and they are glad to see the provisions that have already been set out for their corporate plan for the 2018/2019 year.

He says the budget as a whole has a lot of things around families and for the betterment of Fijians.
