52-year-old Naresh Kumar felt like a new man after he received a bean cart from the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation to help him support his family.
Kumar says he now has a new life and is thankful to the Ministry.
Minister for Women Rosy Sofia Akbar says Kumar was running a bean cart business for more than eighteen years until April this year when his bean cart was dismantled and damaged in an alleged crime accident.
Akbar says Kumar has been supporting his family through his bean cart business.
She adds that the Ministry will give Kumar $200 worth of goods to start of his business.
She adds that an anonymous former citizen of Fiji in Australia donated money to the Ministry to purchase Kumar’s bean cart.
Akbar adds that the ministry will assist people who are in need after the Ministry does it’s thorough assessment.
