Migration has been a challenge for the Fiji Institute of Accountants for the past few years.
This has been confirmed by the President of the Fiji Institute of Accountants Jerome Kado.
Kado says there are 800 registered accountants in the country and the number fluctuates because of migration every year.
He says as indicated by the government, we need to try and make Fiji a more conducive and attractive place to come home to.
Kado says there are positive developments over the past few years and there is so much potential in Fiji.
Meanwhile Vodafone and Westpac today gave a $89,380 sponsorship for the 2017 Fiji Institute of Accountants Congress.
The congress will be held on the 21st and 22nd of April at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort.
