The Methodist Church has accepted the permit conditions set out by Police Commissioner Brigadier General Ioane Naivalurua, after the church got the green light to have its Annual Conference in August.
In granting the approval, the Police Commissioner has highlighted that the Methodist Church must exclude all those activities that will financially burden its members at the three day conference such as the bazaar and choir competition.
Church general secretary Reverend Tevita Nawadra said they accept the decision in good faith as they have waited for the last three years to have a conference.
The Church has also been granted a permit to hold its Standing Committee meetings this month and in July.
