Mereoni Madanaivalu who came all the way from Lovoni, Ovalau to participate in this year's National Women's Expo says from attending this expo it has enabled her to send her children to school.
Madanaivalu says it has also helped her in growing her small business where she makes and sells jewellery.
She says her exhibition this year is made up of things she learned from attending previous expos such as using clean fish scales to make ear rings and used coconut shells laced with magimagi for belts.
Madanaivalu says women should use their talent and skills for something that will benefit them.
500 women artisans are part of the 2019 National Women's Expo underway at the FMF Gymnasium and Carpark.
