It was a proud and memorable day for sisters Sofia Tubuka and Mareta Korovou who have today graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing Science Degrees from the Sangam College of Nursing and Health Care Education in Samabula.

Tubuka who was also won the Overall Academic Excellence in the Bachelor of Nursing Science is also currently working in the Labasa Hospital while her sister works in Savusavu Hospital.

She admits it was very challenging road that both had to travel to achieve their goals.

Tubuka thanked her mother who is a retired nurse herself as she spent sleepless nights helping them with their studies especially their presentations.

Tubuka has been a nurse for the last five years and Mareta has been working as nurse for the last eight years.

They say all their sacrifices have paid off today.

Both sisters were among 102 other graduates who attained their degrees today.
