It was a memorable day for more than 4,000 Fijians living along Sukunaivalu Road after the opening of the Nabua Resource Centre.
While officiating at the ceremony, Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama says the new two-storey Community Hall will serve as a place for students to come and study and be tutored.
He adds the building will also accommodate seminars, workshops, cultural programs and youth events.
Bainimarama says his Government vowed to build the Nabua Community Hall back bigger and better because they understood what it means to those men and women who live along Sukanaivalu road.
He says he is confident the Nabua community will make great use of such an outstanding building.
The total cost of this project is over $320,000 and it was funded through the Prime Minister's office.
Meanwhile, members of Nabua community who were present at the event says the New Resource Centre will provide a better place for the community to congregate and also help the Nabua Rugby Club plan for sporting events.
