Fiji based designer Michael Mausio will be bringing a rich cultural fusion of Pacific traditional and contemporary art to this year’s Fiji Fashion Week.
Mausio started as a model with Fiji Fashion Week and later branched out to designing.
He says that through his clothes, he blends together Pacific Island prints with the latest styles and trends to give each piece a sense of uniqueness; just like each of our islands in the beautiful Pacific.
Other designers who will feature their work at Fiji Fashion Week include, 8 Mountains by Moira Solvalyu, Hefrani by Aisea Konrote, RKFJ by Robert Kennedy, Kuiviti by Epeli Tuibeqa, Elaradi by Laisiasa Davetawalu and Hupfeld Hoerder.
Fiji Fashion Week's Cruise Resort Show will be held on Friday night while the Luxe Resort Show will be held on Saturday night at 7pm at the FMF Gymnasium.
