The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed that Marks Street in Suva will be closed for night‑works between 8pm to 5.30am daily from next Monday to next Friday 21st December.

FRA says this is part of the on‑going road reconstruction works for the Suva Central Business District under FRA’s 2018/2019 Road Renewals program.

The Authority says during the road closure, motorists can use Cumming Street to get onto Waimanu Road from the city centre or use Raojibhai Patel Street, Vishnu Deo Road, Ellery Street onto Renwick Road to get into the city centre.

It says that also during these works, no vehicles will be allowed to be parked along Mark Street, with businesses reminded to ensure all customers and employees keep the area clear between 8.00pm to 5.30am nightly beginning next Monday.

FRA says other upcoming road reconstruction works for the Suva Central Business District under the Road Renewals program include Joske Street, Murray Street, Pratt Street and Renwick Street.
