Man’s body found floating near one of the islands in Yasawa

A 53-year-old man’s body has been found floating near one of the islands in Yasawa.

The man was missing at sea with two other people after their boat capsized near Vomo, Lautoka few days ago.

Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said a passenger managed to swim to the shore to Muira village in Naviti and raised the alarm while another passenger was rescued.

The three men left the Lautoka wharf for Bota-i-Ra resort in Naviti and their boat capsized due to strong winds.
