The Manohan building in Laucala Beach has been deemed unsafe by the Mineral Resources Department.
Lands and Mineral Resources Department Permanent Secretary Malakai Finau said following their assessments, they recommend that the building should not be used at this point.
He said there is a fault line underneath the building which makes it unsafe for occupation.
Minister for Employment and Industrial Relations Semi Koroilavesau said they will also conduct an OHS inspection of the building.
Koroilavesau also said that if the building has been deemed unsafe by the Lands and Minerals Resources Department, then workers have to vacate the building.
Water Authority of Fiji and other businesses have their offices in the building.
Water Authority of Fiji CEO Opetai Ravai said despite orders to vacate the Water Authority headquarters, its staff of 400 continues to provide full services to its customers outside the building premises.
Ravai said the first priority after the evacuation last Wednesday afternoon was to ensure a continuity of customer services.
He said they could not urgently find a storefront location in the central business district of Suva.
He said they moved the Centre onto the second floor of their headquarters parking lot and put it under a tent.
