Man sentenced to two years imprisonment for burglary and theft

A man has been sentenced to two years imprisonment for burglary and theft by the Labasa Magistrates Court.

Labasa Magistrate Cama Tuberi sentenced Pauliasi Nadali to 2 years and 2 weeks imprisonment for the first count which is burglary and 7 months imprisonment for the second count which is Theft.

Both sentences will be served concurrently.

It was heard in court that on 23rd August 2012, the accused, Pauliasi Nadali broke and entered into a house of Vatia subdivision, Labasa, and stole stole items to the total value of $660.00.

He pleaded guilty to the offense.
