A 36-year-old man charged with one count of rape has been remanded in custody by the Taveuni Magistrates Court.
He will be produced in the Labasa High Court next Friday.
Last month, a 9-year-old victim was playing in the suspect's compound when she was called by the man to his house and allegedly raped.
The man is currently being questioned for other two cases of sexual assault reported against him.
He allegedly raped his three close relatives who are between the age of five and nine years.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigations ACP Henry Brown says three separate reports were lodged and all are alleged to have occurred in a settlement in the northern division.
Last Friday, a five-year-old victim who is a kindergarten student was playing in her compound when she was called by the 36-year-old suspect into his home where he is alleged to have sexually assaulted the victim.
The five-year-old then informed her grandmother.
During the two weeks school break, a 7-year-old victim holidaying with her parents was also allegedly sexually assaulted by the 36-year-old suspect.
ACP Brown says as investigations continue, the Fiji Police is seriously concerned with the fact that those who are supposed to be in a position of trust are preying upon the very ones they are supposed to be protecting.
