A 41-year-old man who allegedly hit a woman in her 40's at Marine Drive in Lami on Wednesday which resulted in her death has been released on bail by the Suva Magistrates court.
Simeli Ramatu has been charged with Causing Death by Dangerous Driving.
According to Police, the driver allegedly lost control of his vehicle causing it to veer off the road resulting in theaccident.
The vehicle was heading toward Suva.
He will re-appear in court on 3rd March.
