A man in his 50's is in Police Custody for his alleged involvement in robbery at a restaurant at the Damodar City Complex in Laucala Bay.
Police say that the robbery occurred sometime between midnight to yesterday morning where cash up to $14,000 was found missing from the company safe.
A joint investigation taskforce team comprising of officers from the Southern Division and CID Raiwaqa managed to identify the suspect from CCTV footage.
The suspect was arrested yesterday afternoon at Komave settlement in Nabua with more than $800 in cash believed to have been stolen from the restaurant and equipment believed to have been used to commit the robbery.
