A man who allegedly tried to set his wife on fire earlier this week has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Taveuni Police Station.
Police said the incident is alleged to have occurred on Tuesday night and the 30-year-old woman remains admitted in a stable condition in hospital.
Investigations continue.
