The man charged with murdering 24‑year‑old Fijian woman Arishma Chand in South Auckland has appeared in the Manukau District Court.
The 41‑year‑old did not enter a plea and was granted interim name suppression by Judge Gerard Winter when he appeared in court.
His case was transferred to the High Court, where he will appear on December 6th.
Chand was found by her parents lying on the floor of her bedroom "in a pool of blood" in the early hours of Sunday morning.
