A 24-year-old man charged with aggravated robbery has been remanded by the Suva Magistrates Court.
It is alleged that Demesi Atulaga with two others robbed a man of cash and assorted items to the total value of $4,050 on the 17th of this month at Samabula.
The court heard that the complainant had parked his car at the bus stop and had stepped out to talk on the phone when he was allegedly robbed.
The case has been transferred to the Suva High Court.
Police Prosecutor Priti Prasad informed the court that Atulaga has five pending matters in court.
The case has been adjourned to 8th May for mention.
