A 26-year-old man charged for stealing cash and items valued at more than $4,000 from a woman at Brown Street, Suva on Good Friday was denied bail in a Special Court sitting yesterday.
Taniela Masirewa is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
He has been remanded in custody.
Magistrate Shageeth Somaratne has transferred the case to the Suva High Court.
The case will be called on the first of next month.
