Kritesh Kumar who was allegedly found in possession of 1.4 kilograms of methamphetamine has been further remanded by the Suva High Court.
Kumar is charged for being found in possession of illicit drugs.
State counsel Jullen Fatiaki informed the court that Kumar was sentenced with a fined of $400 by the Nasinu Magistrates Court on 17th of August this year for unlawful possession of illicit drugs.
Fatiaki says it is not in the interest of the public that Kumar be granted bail.
Defence counsel Shelvin Singh informed the court that Kumar had pleaded guilty at the Nasinu Magistrates Court after two years and he was imposed a fine.
The case has been adjourned to December 19 for plea.
