A man who allegedly robbed a foreign national in Raiwaqa in July this year has pleaded not guilty to the offence.
Pauliasi Tukana is charged with one count of aggravated robbery.
It was heard in court that on the 29th of July this year, Tukana allegedly robbed the man of bottles of perfume, shoes and a battery operated cigarette all worth $778.
This was a case of street mugging.
State Counsel, Meli Vosawale told Justice Daniel Goundar today that they were not able to confirm if the complainant is still in the country.
The bail of the accused has been extended and the case will be called again on the 25th of March 2019.
